R. Luke DuBois - Now

survey exhibition, 2014

R. Luke DuBois - Now is the first major survey of my artwork shown in a museum. Curated by Matthew McLendon, the exhibition consists of films, works-on-paper, and generative pieces drawn from ten years of work, including the first public viewings of Circus Sarasota and Sergey Brin and Larry Page. A catalogue of the exhibition is available from Scala Art & Heritage Publishers, featuring essays by McLendon as well as Matthew Ritchie, Anne Collins Goodyear, and Dan Cameron. The exhibition premiered at the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, Florida, and featured performances by LOSTWAX, Lesley Flanigan, Todd Reynolds, and Bora Yoon, as well as a two-day symposium, entitled Genre Creates Ghetto: The Artist and the Curator.
