Real-Time Cmix

synthesis language, 1995-present

RTcmix is an open-source, real-time synthesis language available for a variety of platforms as a standalone engine, and embedded system, and an API. Based on Paul Lansky's CMIX language, the software allows for the rapid development of synthesis and signal processing routines by providing dynamic polyphony, a robust scheduler, an audio routing architecture, and a large library of built-in "instruments".
